We will monitor and adjust the outside time to ensure safety and well-being of the children. However, the walking and outdoor activity may be challenging for some younger 4-year-olds. Please consider this carefully before signing up. 💛

FAQ
-
We strictly follow the DOH (Department of Health) guidelines for the teacher-to-child ratio, which is 1:5 for mixed-age groups of children ages 4–10. If we have only 4 children, we still maintain a minimum of 2 staff members for every outdoor activity and field trip.
-
For safety, we use private transportation services (not public transportation such as subway or MTA bus) for field trips.
-
Gantry Plaza State Park (the waterfront park near the Pepsi-Cola sign). However, the exact location will be determined on the day of the trip. We will choose an area with shade and/or tables and chairs so campers can do art activities and rest between activities.
-
We plan to go to the park most mornings. However, we will monitor the children and the weather and adjust accordingly. All plans are subject to change based on daily conditions. Our priority is the children’s safety and well-being.
-
All summer camp payments are non-refundable.
If a child cannot attend, tuition may be converted into a credit for other Xanh programs.
In order to receive credit, parents must notify Xanh at least 14 days prior to our camp start date.
